Boom......outta here....

Wish me luck. Tomorrow morning I head up to set up camp to go sit in my spot on Saturday.
This spot.

Have a pretty good feeling about this year. The mountain looks good, my bow feels good. I like my chances.....I will report thoroughly. Best time of the year!!!

It's midnight, I just got the horses ready for tomorrow it is the last day of the muzzle hunt. I have witnessed several bucks taken and tomorrow is my last chance. If we are lucky the weather will hold out for one more day. I anticipate my pops and I should be at about 10500 feet by 5 a.m. The stakes are high, If I don't see any action tomorrow I have to live an entire year staring at barren walls in a brand new cabin. Well this is it wish me luck, if only you could tell me "with your shield, or on it" then I could go into battle knowing the outcome. Until then I am an empty canvass waiting, yearning for the mountain to lend her colors.

So I have a vivid memory of you and my brother in a similar situation.. However I think it involved a lot of black clothes and a cat and the tree was in my front yard! Come to think of it I have quite a few memories of things like that with you in them!!

Glad to see everything is going good with you. I stumbled on your blog by accident and couldn't believe my eyes. Archie and I are now living in Vernal and now have four kids. Work is good but the locals are weird. In case you are wondering who this is I used to live behind you in Eagle Mt. Sorry to intrude it was just so fun to see your blog and some links to other people I used to know, and also lived in a place I called home. There where some great people there and we think of them often. Especially Tracy and Rick. Your blog is kind of funny, great read. Tara Chischillie
